‘Animal Intersection’ is a thought-provoking film that delves into the complex relationship between humans and other animals. Set in the small and serene village of Algodres, Portugal, the film explores the way humans interact with and experience other animals that share their surroundings. Through a series of captivating observations of the landscape, the film sheds light on how people construct their own unique ideas about animals and engage with them in diverse ways. ‘Animal Intersection’ places a special emphasis on three distinct groups: the villagers, the nature reserve workers, and the anthropologist, each offering their own unique perspectives and insights.
