Wow, it’s been a looooong year. And many of us are feeling pretty damn weary by now. So, how about we take a pause together?
For the May edition of the Transformative Learning (TL) Hub, we’ll draw on the invitation from the folks at Year Compass to ‘Learn from your mistakes, celebrate your victories, and set out a path you want to walk on‘. Consider our session on Wednesday May 12th (9:30-12:30) as a care-full space to reflect on what we’ve done, what we’ve learned, what we value and how we’d like to give that shape in our work and life.
We’ll dedicate the first part of the session to guided individual reflection, and the second part on what we’ve done in our work related to transformative learning and care-full academic practices (e.g., TL Hub, our teaching, research, etc.). We’ll then build on these reflections to envision what we want to do next within – and beyond – the TL Hub in the year to come.
In preparation, we invite you to:
- bring along anything that can help jog your memory of what you?ve done over the last year (e.g., agenda, diary, old calendar, photos, etc.).
- take a look at this Jamboard with potential seeds for future themes, events & activities and add your own/add your name
- read/scan this article: Creating leadership collectives for sustainability transformations | SpringerLink
The TL hub is open to everyone – students, teachers, researchers, PhDs, postdocs, support staff, etc. from WUR and beyond. You’re very welcome to join this Session, also if you haven’t participated in the Hub before.
