Time: 15:00-17:00

Leslie Kern’s work explores the gendered dimensions of urban spaces and challenges us to rethink how cities are designed. In her influential book Feminist City, Kern exposes the inequalities embedded in our cities, homes, and neighborhoods, advocating for urban spaces that are more inclusive, just, and accessible to all. Drawing from her book, she discusses how urban design can better serve women, mothers, and marginalized groups, offering a new perspective on building more sustainable and caring cities.
