Complexity and Health

The Complexity and Health Cluster aims to break down disciplinary boundaries and foster interconnectedness rather than isolation. This approach recognizes that different levels of organization – whether cells, individuals, social networks, or entire cultures – can exhibit similar behaviors or influence each other in unexpected ways over time.

Vision and Scope

By adopting the principles of complexity science, we seek to address pressing health challenges and design systems that promote well-being. Collaboration across fields is essential to this mission, moving beyond the “our discipline vs. their discipline” mindset. Join us as we explore and apply these insights to meaningful research and practical solutions.

Activities

The cluster engages in a variety of activities designed to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and critical thinking around complexity science. Key initiatives include organizing workshops, public lectures, and events.
